The Fender American Standard Telecaster is Fender's high-end Tele. It produces that great, famous Telecaster sound with some slight improvements that make it an even better guitar than it 1950s ancestor. Well, maybe "better" is incorrect. But with the addition of the six saddle bridge, for instance, the Standard Telecaster has better intonation than its 3 saddle predecessor.
